This is my second trip to Switzerland with Lochiel it's been such an amazing opportunity being able to represent New Zealand at the Basel Tattoo 2012. Only 5 of the girls came to Basel in 2007 so it's been great getting to know other girls in the team that I haven't marched with before.
As we're getting to know the cast bar staff on a first name basis a few of us have woken up with sore heads thankfully training isn't until 12.30 today so maccas is a must before training!:)
Training was very positive & constructive though we had to make a few positioning changes due to a sickness in the team and worked on a few movements where we were having structural problems.
Performance 8 at 5.30 went through fine, well done to Vanessa, Nani & Shannon who were in brand new positions they did really well. We got a score of 9.2 from Colleen so we need to step it up in performance 9 to get that '10' we are aiming for!
Performance 9 at 9.30 didn't go as well as we hoped didn't get that 10 we wanted.
So two shows down for the night off to the cast bar for a couple of well needed bubbles!;)
